Men's Ministry

The men's minstry at West Side brings together men of all ages for fellowship, prayer support, and learning.  Monthly breakfasts, on the second Saturday, provide opportunity to hear from God's Word, lift each other in prayer, and fellowship.  Work days provide opportunity to work together using gifts and talents to bless the church and the community.  The annual fall retreat is a time to go deeper in the Word and to build strong bonds with other men of God.  If you would like more information about the men's ministry, please contact David Nielsen at dnielsen2002@bellsouth.net.

Women's Ministry

West Side's W.I.N.G.S (Women in God's Service) ministry seeks to provide opportunities and activities for women to experience and serve God that encourage spiritual growth and strengthen them as individuals, as well as in the family, in the church, and in the community.  West Side's women gather monthly, on the second Thursday, for Coffee Chatter, an informal time to come together for prayer, fellowship, and encouragement.  For more information regarding the W.I.N.G.S ministry at West Side, please contact Reta Glasscock at retag@q.com.

Young Adult Ministry

Emerge, our young adult ministry, is a place for college-age students and beyond to find community and seek truth as we continue to grow in relationship with Christ.   Currently, we meet on Monday evenings at Pastor Kayla's house from 6:30pm-8:00pm and would love to have you join us! If you have any questions, contact Pastor Kayla at kharden@westsidechog.org

Young Families Ministry

If you are a family with young children at West Side Church of God, this is a group created to encourage you!  Keep up to date on all of the opportunities to connect as we share meals together, engage in parenting/marriage/Bible Studies, enjoy fun activities, and raise our ever-growing clan of kids. We hope that we can be a support for each other as we continue to learn ourselves while guiding our kids to love God and others!  For more information regarding the Young Families Ministry at West Side, please contact Shannon Taimani at staimani@westsidechog.org.

Mid Century Modern

We like to think of our group as “timeless” and “classic” - but is basically for those born between the 1950s-early 1970s. This group is for singles and married couples alike, who are either empty nesters or getting ready to empty the nest.  Join us on the 4th Saturday of each month at various homes for connection, fellowship and occasional activities.  For more information contact Kim Sylvester or Sandy Beeler.

55 PLUS(Praying, Loving, Unstoppable Seniors)

West Side's senior adult ministry, 55 PLUS, looks to strengthen, encourage, empower and nurture the seniors at West Side church of God and the community.  The first Friday of each month this group gathers for a Friendly Friday Luncheon to fellowship, pray, worship, study, and of course share a meal together.  Other events include attending local concerts and hymn sings.  For more information regarding 55 PLUS please contact Dot Brock
